This movie is supposed to be a follow up to the 1964 classic bad movie Santa Claus Conquers The Martian's, which also starred Pia Zadora in her first ever movie role.Thanks to Anonymous
The movie was actually released in theaters in the USA. I still possess the uber ultra cool "I Took The Voyage Of The Rock Aliens" pin that was given out on opening weekend. (Maybe that's why the movie didn't turn a profit?). Anyways, it's still residing on my (also uber ultra cool) Lita Ford concert neckerchief. Go figure.Editor Nick

This was the last of three movies that were supposed to launch Pia Zadora as an actress. The others where "Butterfly" (1980), and "The Lonely Lady" (1982). They all bombed at the box office. "Butterfly" won her a Golden Globe for best newcomer in 1980 but her success was overshadowed by rumours that her multimillionaire husband had bought her the award.Bogus Trivia
