With new Mortal Kombat hitting some movie theaters and streaming services, how could I not bring the cheesy wonder of the nineties that is the original Mortal Kombat? Of course, it is cheesy and giggle-inducing but I still think it holds up well! That movie is so glorious! It may be nostalgia speaking through me but I enjoy watching it even today and I don't even have to mention the killer soundtrack, right?
Who is with me?

As cheesy and dated as this movie is now in retrospect, it was quite a thrill watching it as a 15 yr. old in the theater when it came out. Still a nice watch today if you ask me if you have a good theater-esque sound system set-up in your home so you can really feel all those thuds, thwaps, and killer beats from the soundtrack.
