Charlie Sheen and Nastassja Kinski star in this 1994 action thriller regarding skydiving and the Russian bad guys which also featured James Gandolfini and Christopher McDonald. The film cost over $50 million to produce, yet only made $16 million in the US and marks the downfall for Sheen's film career. But what is everyone's take on it on whether or not you knew it existed. I really enjoy terminal velocity Leo,it's one those real dumb but fun action flicks you can just switch your brain off and enjoy.
Both sheen and kinski are likeable in it and there's some superb aerial stunts such as the outrageous car stunt from the plane.
It doesn't take itself serious for one minute and it's so over the top you can't help but have fun with it.
I have the cheap mill creek blu ray of it and for a budget release the picture and sound are both excellent.
Terminal velocity came out similar time to Wesley snipe's skydiving movie drop zone, can't remember much of that one I need to watch that one again at some point.
So i'd say Terminal velocity is a lot of fun and well worth a watch.

Watched Terminal Velocity yesterday and i liked it. Fun and entertaining film.
Charlie sure starred in lots of films set in Arizona
Terminal Velocity was directed by Deran Sarafian. I like his stylish 80s vampire flick To Die For and the 1990 Van Damme film Death Warrant was ok. I´ve always liked writer David Twohy´s stuff too.
The stunts were phenomenal and i agree with warrior that the movie never takes itself too seriously. Good, brainless entertainment.
