Has anyone ever seen or familiar with the 1999 movie update of "The Mod Squad"? It was based on the TV series from the late 60s and starred Claire Danes, Omar Epps & Giovanni Ribisi as delinquents who become undercover agents.
Like many movies based on television shows, this one was a disaster at the box office and was universally panned by both critics and fans of the show alike. Tell us your thoughts about this one starting now.

It's terrible-slow, boring, with a cast that doesn't seem to care. And the worst thing is that the undercover agents' best investigative technique is to "stand really close to the bad guys to overhear their criminal conversations." I wouldn't waste my time. It's one of the worst TV-show-to-movie adaptations, down there with "Car 54, Where Are You?"

Agreed one of the worst TV adaptations to date (and believe me, that's saying something).
