What does everyone think about the 1995 erotic thriller "Jade" starring David Caruso, Linda Fiorentino and Chazz Palminteri? It was directed by William Friedkin and written by Joe Eszterhas. When it came out, the movie got crucified by the critics and died a quick death at the box office, much like "Showgirls" a few weeks earlier that year (which was also written by Eszterhas). So all and all, what are your thoughts?

I have the dvd and it`s a very good movie directed by the legendary director William Friedkin. I like everything Joe Eszterhas did back in the day and i´m going to watch Showgirls again soon.
Interesting murder mystery, ultra hot Fiorentino and cool car chase scene - awesome stuff!

The premise for this movie is cool, and I like Linda Fiorentino in it. But the downside is I never could really stand David Caruso as an actor. Therefore I can't usually bring myself to really enjoying anything he's in. If anyone else but him were cast in this movie, I could have liked it a bit more.
