"In a small Canadian township two lads start to investigate the world of women, with some advice from the local Scottish shop and garage owner. One of them tries to impress his girl with his dad's various cars while the other takes an increasingly serious interest in an older woman. Meanwhile the parents involved have their own adult problems." (IMDb)
Love the cast: Corey Haim, Barbara Williams, Andrew Miller, Kirsten Kieferle, Robbie Coltrane, Keir Dullea and Geneviève Bujold.
This is a feelgood movie with great characters. Nobody´s perfect but nobody´s too bad either. People just have different values and ways of life.
Add some nice 50s tunes and you got a very nice film in your hands. Recommended!

I've seen Oh What A Night aTomik & I came away with the same feeling...I liked it! Corey did a good job. It's not on par with his Lucas performance but what could be?
Overall, OWAN is an easy movie...the 50's music is a great bonus! There's one song in the film called "Little Star" that I didn't know but instantly took a liking to...thought it worked perfectly with the scene it was married up with !
Wow, I think I might have to watch this again soon! It's been a few years. Thanks for the thread! I love when the more obscure movies of the 80's/early 90's get some recognition on the boards !
