Watched Critters 3 which was straight-to-video sequel directed by Kristine Peterson.
The opening credits didn´t promise much and yes, it wasn´t nearly as good as the first two movies. The great 80s feeling was gone.
Also, the cast was only so-so, Don Keith Opper is once again back as Charlie and we can see Terrence Mann as Ug for a few seconds during the end credits. Aimee Brooks and Leonardo DiCaprio are the young stars, this was DiCaprios first movie.
Leo fooling around with the crites during lunch break
Geoffrey Blake was awful as Frank, Who did he think he was, a one dollar Andrew Dice Clay? I was so glad that the Crites ate him first
See some nice critters jokes, still solid special effects and DiCaprio playing Gameboy. They set up the movie number 4 during the end credits and it was shot back to back with this one.
So it´s time for the final showdown!

Just watched Critters 4 and i think that it was better than the 3rd one. This was a cool little space adventure, the story takes place in a space station in 2045.
The cast was slightly better, it was nice to see Brad Dourif and Angela Bassett. And shower scene is always a plus First i didn´t remember why i knew Eric DaRe´s face but hey, how could i forget Leo Johnson from Twin Peaks! Well, the crites ate him...
So now it´s over, no more eggs, no more green slime, no more razor sharp teeth. Maybe someday, Charlie will return to save the world once again.
Someone on the IMDb said that Critters 5 was in the works back in the 90s. The story line they mentioned involved the Critters being mistakenly shipped in sporting goods boxes to a baseball stadium in Japan where they wrecked havoc during a crowded baseball game.
Now that sounds pretty awesome.

Oh good you thought the 4th was better. Maybe I'll stop putting off my rewatch of it now

You know, who would have thought that the town drunk and an alien which morphs and looks like a rock star are the only characters to star in all 4 movies.

Eek Just watched 4. Thought it was better than 3 but not by much. Don't think I'd ever bother with those again. I'll just stick to the first 2

Don't you just hate when they take a good film and run it into the ground with worthless sequels? This series is a typical example.
