I never watched Kingpin, but others have told me that they like it.
This is not the easiest question to answer, but my favorite comedy of the 90's is probably The Big Lebowski.

I gotta say "Dumb and Dumber" as well...although it's lost a bit of gusto for me (since I've seen it so so many times)...I've never laughed more than when I seen this for the first time...

Tommy Boy. I really miss Farley and think we only saw the beginnings of what would have been a long and storied career.....

His recent biography says he wanted to do a Fatty Arbuckle bioptic at some point; as they tend to do too often, though, the studio executives just wanted him to fall on his face over and over again ad nauseum, and that knowledge almost certainly depressed him enough to relapse again and again until the end. But as has been proved here, his work is timeless and should hold up for years to come.

Chris, I agree with you, and that goes for a lot of the actors who came out of SNL in the late 80's and 90's- Will Farrell, Rob Sneider, Sandler, etc. Although I don't think Will Farrell can act his way out of a paper bag- he needs to stick to dumb comedy and that is it.

I used to think Will Ferrell had potential, but now I just don't know. I think you're right, Pitt.

But at least we'll always have Mustafa, who worked wonderfully in the context of Mike Myers's Powersverse ("I am in an extraordinarily large amount of pain down here...").

Groundhog Day is #1, closely followed by Eight Days A Week and then.... actually after that, no others really stand out for me.
