I hadn't seen this one since it played on HBO during its initial run. It still holds up as a fun-on-the-slopes romp with a definite '80s vibe. If you've seen Hot Dog or Snowballing (or even 2001's Out Cold), then it's all familiar territory.

- This was nice Sci-Fi flick directed by Roland Emmerich (Stargate, Independence Day etc.) Featuring interesting cast: Michael Pare, Dean Devlin, Brian Thompson, Stephen Geoffreys and Malcolm McDowell.

I remember Edge of Honor! I think I watched it because Meredith Salenger was in it, but wound up kind of liking it. The finished product definitely did not live up to the premise, but it wasn't a complete disaster or anything. And damn was Meredith Salenger a babe...

- Nice love triangle drama. Starring Richard Gere, Sharon Stone and Lolita Davidovich. Not earthshaking stuff or anything like that but quite touching little movie anyway.

Clive Barker doesn't make normal films (or write normal books, for that matter).

Seven, modern classic; unforgettable picture albeit one you can only watch every few years.
buffalo-girl, The Bone Collector was one I saw at the cinema and though I love Angelina Jolie & Denzel Washington, the movie could've been a lot better IMO.
Days Of Thunder a.k.a Top Gun on wheels. Great movie.

The Bone Collector is from 1999. I was working at Universal when it was in production.

I watched Haunted. I thought it was gonna be this really creepy ghost story movie. It was horrible. The ending was okay, but it's a shame the viewer has to suffer through about an hour and 20 minutes before the movie gets good.

Untamed Heart (1993). Marissa Tomei is a waitress who has experienced more than her fair share of rotten luck in love, as she can't keep a boyfriend. Going home from work one night, she is subjected to a rape attempt by two idiots in the park, but is rescued by shy, awkward, well-meaning orphaned Christian Slater, who is employed as a waiter's assistant at her workplace, Jim's Bakery and Coffee Shop. They fall in love, but he has a congenital heart ailment. Rosie Perez, Kyle Secor and Willie Carson feature in addition. Incidentally, I have read that this was one of Rachel Scott's esteemed films.
