i can't remember the name of a movie that isn't real old, but was a nice romantic one. it finished with the president of the u.s. on the lawn of the white house with a lady, and it isn't "the american president". any help? thanks!

Larry, it sounds like the 2000 movie "The Contender".
Jeff Bridges played the U.S. President, and Joan Allen as Senator Laine Hanson (the one on the lawn). Sam Elliott, Gary Oldman, and Christian Slater also appear in this movie.
