I have heard this song a few times, and I really like the music in it, it has a good beat, like a cruising in your car kind of song, I kind of like it. I keep thinking I might actually buy a CD from her, which would be the first CD I have bought in 10 years. She has a good voice, it is just that her songs they sound like she's really mad about everything in them, like she's been dumped by everyone, and is taking it out in her music. But, out of anything I have heard lately this is one of the few songs that has grabbed my attention.

I haven't heard that one yet. She makes simple yet catchy popsongs. I don't mind her so much, but I do have a strong dislike for Clay Aiken. He reminds me of the poor mans Barry Manilow.

It's a really great song. Very catchy and a bit different to what she's been doing lately, and a bit different from how everyone else sounds too.
Isis you're right that all her songs lately have been about being dumped. I haven't heard the whole album yet, but I guess that's probably the theme of the album. The album itself is called "Breakaway", the singles were "Breakaway", "Since U been gone", "Behind these hazel eyes", "Because of you" and "Walk away". It's nice to see a current album that has a theme tying it all together, rather than most pop albums which are just a collection of songs.
I guess to if you look at the singles from her first album (apart from the Idol single), there was "Miss Independant", "Low" and "The trouble with love is" none of which were exactly happy relationship songs either.

This is the song off of her album that reminds me of an 80s movie! It is such a good album and I totally recommend it. The music in it sounds like it belongs in some 80s movie, but not sure which one exactly.
I absolutely love YOU FOUND ME, off of this album. AWESOME!!!!

I don't really care for Kelly. She totally ripped off the guitar break from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs song, "Maps" in her "Since You've Been Gone" single. After that, I was like, get your own sound girl! She wishes she was as intense as Karen O.

You've got your mother and your brother, every other Under cover telling you what to say You think I'm stupid But the truth is, that it's Cupid Baby, loving you has made me this way
So before you point your finger Get your hands off of my trigger You need to know this situations getting old And now the more you talk, the less I can take
I'm looking for attention Not another question Should you stay or should you go Well, if you don't have the answer Why you still standing here Hey, Just walk away
I waited here for you like a kid waiting after school So tell me how come you never showed I gave you everything and never asked for anything And look at me, I'm all alone So before you start defending, baby Stop all your pretending
I know you know I know So what's the point in being so, "Let's get this show on the road today"
I'm looking for attention Not another question Should you stay or should you go Well, if you don't have the answer Why you still standing here Hey, Just walk away
I want a love I want a fire To feel the burn My desires I want a man by my side Not a boy who runs and hides Are you going to fight for me Die for me Live and breathe for me Do you care for me Cause if you don't then just leave
I'm looking for attention Not another question Should you stay or should you go Well, if you don't have the answer Why you still standing here Hey, Just walk away

I guess no one has ever been dumped/ Or been the dumpee? If I were 22 again, I could totally relate to her new album. But some people live in a perfect world.

Yes cindy both songs sound alike in about 95% of the riffs. I like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I caught em in a small club gig when we were in Atlanta on vacation.....

I love pop music, don't get me wrong. I grew up listening to Tiffany and Expose and whatnot. Does Kelly deserve her place in pop music today, abso-f'in-lutely! The 14 year olds of today need their "Tiffany or Debbie Gibson." I just can't dismiss the fact that she styles her hair and make-up after the Olson twins, her clothes after Gwen Stefani and her sound from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs...

I really like Kelly Clarkson, she has a wonderful voice and really knows how to use it. Her second album "Breakaway" is great, lots of really good songs on it.
