The last great Jack Lemmon-Walter Matthau team-up is a good diversionary film for every now and then. It's also something that can get you in the mood for summer, with the great Caribbean settings and cruise ship scenes. And it more than disproves Hollywood's prevailing logic that life's essentially over at 50. Matthau's a scream, from his wild and crazy suits that don't even remotely match to his incredible laughable dance moves ("They call this the Brazilian Creep. In Brazil, of course, it's just called the Creep."). Hal Linden, a still agile Donald O'Connor, Dyan Cannon, Estelle Getty, Brent Spiner, and Edward Mulhare form part of a great surrounding cast.
Anyone else like it?
