This was probably the most recent good film Chevy Chase was in. As a clear sign of what the media can do to people, he plays a cop show-obsessed suburbanite who gladly lets the police stay in his house to stake out the killer next door--and does his usual inept best to help. Northeast PA's own Jack Palance co-stars as the poor guinea pig at his mercy (love it when Chev throws the cat into the closet on him, and Palance ever so gently chokes him afterwards).
Anyone else see it?

I saw it once, but really wasn't fond of it. It's not my fave Chevy Chase movie by far....

I was really excited to see this one when it came out and then it didn't live up to my expectations. I liked the storyline and it could have been much better I think. Still love Chevy, I wish that he would get his career revived.
I thought that the guy that played Jack Palance's parter was cute. Miko Hughes played Billy,??, I think that was his name, the little boy who dressed like a vampire. Can you believe how old that kid is now, I can still see him getting run over by that semi truck in Pet Sematary.
It is worth a look see because you can only decide what you like for yourself, but I would recommend it.
