I downloaded this show, right. It had to've been airing when I was ten, so I didn't get to see it when it was on the air, but I think I missed out. It's a shame it's not on the air anymore, but it's even more of a shame that it isn't released on DVD. (And Cleopatra 2525 is? I've never seen it, but suffice to say the main character is an exotic dancer unfrozen in the future.) I wrote to Universal Studios to see about it being released, and basically what they said was, "Sorry, nothing's listed for this title and we don't have any more information. Thanks for the interest!"
Anyway, I've got it downloaded so it's not like I've completely lost out. It's really quoteable and I like shows that make you feel smart.
"I'm the itch you can't scratch, I'm the gas you can't pass."
"You didn't tell me you drugged the meal!" "I didn't, this is how all Thanksgivings go."
"You got lucky this time, Leon!" "Yeah, lucky you suck!"
But anyway, the real reason I made this thread is because it'd be great if you guys could take a visit to tvshowsondvd.com and vote for it. I'd be much obliged.

Oh I love this show! I used to watch this all the time because it was so tongue in cheek and Bruce was hilarious! He is so campy and loveable. I also watched Xena anytime he was on.
When it was on originally, it was praised by critics for being a breath of fresh air. All the good shows seem to get cancelled! Anyway, if you liked this show than you'd LOVE "The Adventures Of Brisco County JR" this was another one of Bruce's TV shows that was cancelled. It was like a futuristic western. I loved it. It is supposed to be out on DVD soon.
If you go to his website (which is under construction right now) there is an email list for producers, movie and TV execs that you can write to or email to petition for his stuff to be released. That is how we got Brisco to get released.
BTW, he his pet movie "My Name Is Bruce" which he wrote and is directing is filming right now. I think I told you about it ahile ago.Bruce plays himself, living in Oregon until they get a zombie problem. People give him a chainsaw and a shotgun expecting him to be the hero, but he kills more people than zombies. It's supposed to be kind of a comedic spoof on the Evil Dead films(which were funny in themselves). So anyway, now that my fingers are tired, I'm gonna get going. Just thought I'd let ya know, if ya didn't already.

I heard about the movie--Sounds like great fun. I've also been downloading Brisco, I've heard good things about it. I'd say Bruce can do no wrong, but, ah...I saw that Alien Apocalypse movie.
It is a shame though, because "OMGBruce" aside, it was a good show. I mean, it's not too bad actually having to pay attention to the dialogue you know.
"I lost my chrome danglers during the war. There I was holding my musket...(tearing up) Well, let's just say everything went nuts."

I used to watch Jack. I thought it was very cool. Loved the "mini me" dude from Austin Powers as napoleon.
I saw a few episodes of Cleopatra too. I thought Jack was a better series or the two.
I am a huge Brisco County fan!!!! I saw every episode. Can't wait to buy the DVD set. I have an 8X10 of Brisco and Comet & 2 different closeup poses of Brisco himself.
That "My Name Is Bruce" title reminded me of those funny Bruce Lee spoof comedies that were made called "My Name Is Bruce" and "They Still Call Me Bruce."

Bruce is an hilarious guy, I'm sure the title of "My name is Bruce" was intentional. If you like his stuff than you got to see "The Man With The Screaming Brain" which was also written and directed by him. It is crazy, funny, campy, just the way I like him!
By the way, try reading his 2 books, they are soooo funny. I got them autographed by him not long ago and I asked if he'd be writing a 3rd. He just kinda laughe and talked about how busy he is right now so we'll have to wait and see.
