It's called "Where The Day Takes You" starring, Durmot Mulroney, Sean Astin, Will Smith, Lara Flyn Boyle, Balthazar Getty, Alyssa Milano and many others.
I always thought it was very good and very underrated. It's about teens living on the streets of Hollywood and the terrible things they go through.
The performances from the actors are believable and sometimes heartbreaking. If you haven't seen it, I think you should.

wasn't this the one with will smith is in a wheel chair (no legs) ? if so, i think i remember seeing this movie.

It's so underrated. I think everyone did a fine job with the acting. I even liked Will Smith's character, for once he wasn't so funny.
