Anyone see this movie? It actually IS a 90's movie (I can post real 90's movies here sometimes).

I've only seen it all the way through once, and halfway through again today. I thought it was pretty good, but suffered quite a bit of bad acting on the leading actress's part. Eddie Murphy was actually pretty good, even if he had some really bad lines to say--Maybe I'm biased because I like him, but it was just the leading lady that bugged me. Her acting was good when she was normal (except when she was acting the part of the tough woman cop), but as soon as she went all vampire and was acting "scared" it went downhill for her.

For example:
"You must go forward with the killing or you will die!"
"THEN I'M NOT GOING FORWARD!"

She couldn't act scared, it was kind of embarrassing. But all that aside, I thought it was a neat flick that didn't take itself too seriously. The ghoul guy was really cool, although I have to admit that he made a way better vampire than either of the leads. The movie was actually creepy when Nicky was killed and hung like on the cross, exactly like in the painting.

Anyone have any thoughts?
