My husband and son are watching it right now...I saw 5 minutes of it, and a guy got shot in the head...and it's PG. I was freaking out...they said "oh what do you want us to watch...movies about fuzzy bunnies and baby kittens??" So...I left them alone. I guess to men maybe violence isn't what it is like to me.
I mean I think the Bionic Man was totally cool, and liked seeing him beat the heck out of the bad guys...but he never shot anybody in the head. I hate the senseless killing stuff...why can't they just show him knocking the bad guys out? Why do people have to be killed???

Lisa, that's what the 00 prefix signifies - the license to kill. Bit of a waste of time and all those movies if all he does is give them a slap on the wrist, isn't it?
And yes - you are viewing stuff differently from the men in your house. But from all the other posts you have written, they are in the vast majority of men who can tell the difference between screen violence and real violence. So don't worry. Go put Care Bears on the other TV set and let the guys enjoy some quality time with guns......

Actually I watched The World is not Enough this morning. It was not as bad with the violence. But there were bombs exploding left and right. I actually didn't mind it, it was the first James Bond movie I watched from beginning to end.
I had no idea what the 00 stood for. That is a cool piece of trivia.
