Has anyone purchased this yet? I am a huge fan of the movie, but I'm not sure it's worth updating since my original dvd works fine. Just looking for opinions. Thanks!

Well that is very interesting because I would love to see what all of the extras are on this one! I have just bought the movie within the last year and have actually been catching it and it's sequel on tv over the last couple of months.

If anyone buys it let me know how the extras are. I missed out on a deluxe edition of Stand By Me and really don't know what I have missed there either.
