Well I was gonna say LEON but I see you have it there already! Im a girl and hate action movies. My husband was begging me to rent LEON and I refused to watch it. Then one day I went to my Dad's house and it was on cable and my Dad said "Try it. You'll like it." Well, I watched it and ran home and rented it for my husband I loved it so much. I now own the dvd. It's in my TOP 10 MOVIES OF ALL TIME list.

I haven't seen LEON--is that the one that is also called The Professional with Natalie Portman.
I was thinking more along the lines of ARMAGEDDON.
But if we are talking in terms of more fighting and less explosions---probablly any early Van Damme flick like Double Impact, Hard Target, Universal Soldier, or Lionheart!!!

VAN DAMME! he made some pretty fun movies during the early 90's. here in the UK, LIONHEART is known as A.W.O.L., great film, good fights (take notice Ralph bloody Macchio fans!) DEATH WARRANT, BLOODSPORT and DEFINITELY DOUBLE IMPACT -
"you know stretching is so important. for example, because of my big legs and karate, I can do the splits NO PROBLEM!" - Chad struts his stuff in a gym full of women.

Terminator 2 had excellent special effects for its time, but if you're gonna slam someone for being whimpy, I'd start with Edward Furlong's portrayal of John Conner before I went after the Karate Kid.
Only jokin' Raggedyman.

Yes Leon and Leon: The Professional and The Professional are all the same movie. With Natalie Portman. It has action but it also tugs at the heart-strings (I cry at the end.)

T2 is complete action bliss. I'm not an action man, but this movie still makes me cream my jeans.

Oh yeah I love the humor in True Lies also. I love how it has the sidelined story with his wife and how humorous Arnold is in this one. There was some talk about a sequal to this one but it never manifested into anything. I guess James Cameron is still riding to high on his Titanic success. He really is a very elaborate filmmaker, you just don't want to hear him talk sometimes.
