Yes, now that its all over, we can safely reminisce about this insanely popular 90s sitcom that dominated the airwaves for the better half of a decade.
Favourite friend had to be Chandler Bing (a.k.a. Matt Perry) whilst some of my favourite episodes include 1.The baby on the bus 2.The blackout 3.The dirty apartment 4.The one where Joey goes on a game show 5.The one where joy and chandler copy Tom Selleck

I get called Phoebe all the time...the amount of times people have asked me to sing smelly cat is criminal.
Its rare you find anyone who hates friends, i often find that those who do, have never really watched it, and hate it on principle, just coz it's popular.
All the girls I know love Chandler (we all love a man with humour), he's all the blokes I know favourite too.

I know Miss Phoebe!!!!! could he "be" any funnier!
I love Friends I tend to watch the episodes over and over....cause you can it's on TV 24/7!
I rarely come across many people that don't love it and can quote many Friends quotes....one of my favs was the 80's flashback...with the prom....Chandler's Flock of Seagulls hairdo...and Ross and his keyboard playing....steping up to take Racheal to the prom...ahhh how cute...ok I'm being too detailed...
Oh EAngel I forgot you and I love Magnum PI! haha that episode is hillarouis Kash when Joey and Chandler try to copy Richard. Growing the facial hair...haaaaaaaaaaaa! ooooooh no that was my Janice laugh. Grems will get me for that one. Dang! Ok I'll be back with more later.......I love Friends!

The one with the embryoes - where Chandler and Joey compete with Monica and Rachel over who knows each other better - and the girls lose their apartment because they don't know what ChanMan does for a living. (I also love it for the name on the boys TV Guide subscription label - Chanadaler Bong!)
My other fave is The one where Ross finds out - when Phoebe is looking at Ugly Naked Guy's apartment with Ross, and sees Monica and Chandler doing it in Monica's apartment. Her horrified cries of "Monica and Chandler, MONICA AND CHANDLER!!! MY EYES!!! MY EYES!!!!" send me into hysterics every time

I was just thinking of the phrases from Friends that have become part of everyday life. I know some of them existed previously, but were given a whole new life by the show -
"Oh.... My ..... God!!!"
"Could this blank BE any more blank"
"How you doin'?"
"We were on a break!"

fave friends episode has got to be the one with Brad Pitt. The one liners in that are superb. ''you were the hermaphrodite cheer-leader from Long Island'' ''thats right..your parents flipped a coin, decided to raise you as a girl, but you still had a hint of a penis''

I watched it until the end, but I am still a bigger fan of "Seinfeld."
OTOH I never miss a Friends rerun if I'm channel-surfing.
Also liked: - any episodes featuring childbirth - all of the parents - flashbacks to their high-school days [Chandlers 'Flock of Seagulls' look is a scream]

Any of the friends flashback episodes ruled. I particularly liked the one where Janice asked if any of the friends had ever NEARLY gone with another...

I enjoyed all the flashback episodes as well. Chandler's Flock Of Seagulls haircut was hilarious. My favorite episode might have been the "We Hate Rachel" club with Brad Pitt.

Earth Angel, I'm willing to challenge the "most people that hate it, haven't watched it" comment. I've been told by tons of people "Oh My Gawsh, it's actually funny if you sit down and watch it." So of course I'd take their advice on occasion, watch a few complete episodes in a row, but to no avail. So I tell myself "Hey, maybe I just watched a bad batch of episodes, let some time pass and try again." So a month goes by and I try again, same result. I've actually tried different methods of getting myself to like it. I'm not usually one for mental blocks either, strange. What is even stranger is I actually find most of that cast entertaining outside of that sitcom. I'm not a sitcom hater in general, so that rules out the anti-sitcom syndrome. I'm not one of those people who doesn't like something, just because it's good or popular either. I give everything a fair shot, and no matter what I try I have difficulties stomaching the humor. Help me cure my friendsaphobia!
