Anyone seen this amazing surrealistic, enigmatic fable by polyvalent French director Louis Malle?
It doesn't have much of a traditional story, but here are the main lines: in a world where men and women are at war, an adolescent girl feels isolated because she's between child and adult. she only feels home with the animals: insects, snakes and a clownish unicorn... or something like that. To fully understand it , one should probably watch it with Freud-lecture, but I prefer to be dragged in the intriguing, beautifully filmed dream world.
I would like to recommend this movie to anyone who likes movies that step outside the reality and traditional story structure.
