I saw a movie about this little doll that when this lady was cleaning she through the doll under the couch it's neckless came off and it came to life. She then went and got into the shower and the doll climbed in and started to hack at the back of her ankles with a straight razor. I cannot remember the name of this movie, and I would love to watch it again! does anyone remember it? Thanks for any help.

I checked on imdb.com and TRILOGY OF TERROR was a tv movie starring Karen Black in three horror storys. The third is the one everyone seems to remember: Karen plays a quiet woman whom gets sent a voodoo tiki evil doll from a friend. The necklace thingy falls off and the little voodoo doll chases her around screaming at the top of its lungs. Strangely, I remember this movie as being very funny and STILL scarey.(I think the ending freaked me out).

I never seen that TV-movie, so I can't comment on that.

But I just wanted to say here that (IMHO) Karen Black was one of the most underrated actresses during the 70's.

Unfortunately, her career (and her choices of roles) have been going downhill since the 80's.

Because of this post me and my sister started talking about Karen Black. One of my sisters favorite horror flicks is BURNT OFFERINGS.It seems like whenever you were lucky enough to catch a scarey movie on tv as a kid Karen Black was in it!!!! I saw her in HOUSE OF 1,000 CORPSES this summer and it was great to see her in a horror flick again.
