Picked up Neil Simon's detective parody earlier this week at the local FYE's going out of business sale. While not quite as good as the 80s similar Clue (and Eileen Brennan, though good here, was admittedly better as Mrs. Peacock, as was that film's version of the missed faint gag), it is pretty good on its own; Alec Guinness's blind butler easily steals the show, with Peter Sellers's amusing Charlie Chan parody doing much the same among the fauz sleuths with his absurd snippets of questionable similies.
