The Runaways was a tv-series in the late 70s.
Psychologist David McKay tracks down runaways from bad or broken homes and tries to help them rebuild their lives. He's helped by his girlfriend, Karen Wingate, and by Mark Johnson and Susan Donovan, two former runaways he found and adopted. After a limited run in 1978, the series went on hiatus and returned briefly a year later with psychologist Steve Arizzio replacing McKay, and a revamped supporting cast. (IMDb)
I just watched the 100 minute pilot episode "No Prince for My Cinderella" which was released on VHS here back in the day.
Starring Robert Reed, Michael Biehn, Karen Machon and Ruth Cox. Terri Nunn (the singer of the band "Berlin"), Cecilia Hart and Scott Baio were the guest stars in this episode. Nunn was great as the schizophrenic runaway Cathy who lives a double life as a streetgirl named Barbara.
I would love to see more episodes but i know that it´s impossible to get those.
