So tonight at New Beverly Cinemas in LA they are screening SORCERER (1977) dir. William Friedkin starring Roy Scheider soundtrack by Tangerine Dream
Never seen this flick..Anyone reccommend it?? Supposedly the version being shown tonight is really great looking and far better quality than the DVD.

Sorcerer is good. It's a remake of Henri-Georges Clouzot's The Wages of Fear which is an absolute masterpiece of cinema, though, so by comparison it really suffers. Gotta love that Tangerine Dream score, however. It was their very first soundtrack and is an experience in its own right.
