There is a list of 70's Movies I will never forget because I was living in Montana when they were filmed.. One was Rancho Deluxe.. Filmed in the Livingston & Bozeman area. Jimmy Buffett was actually a house band at a bar called Calamity Janes, he was dating a waittress there, his sis still lives in the Livingston area. thats where the song came from Livingston Sat. Night. Some other movies filmed in MT when I was there. Thunderbolt & Lightfoot and Telefon.. both filmed in the Great Falls MT area. God Montana rocked in the 70's.. what ever happen?

Montana will always have their fair share of movies being filmed there just on the basis of the natural scenery.
I know of another movie filmed in Livingston, "Amazing Grace & Chuck"

I've never been to Montana, but the scenery is great, so it's a natural for movies.
Probably the state's film commission board must have been very active back in those days!
