Do you guys remember when the song "Still the One" was the commercial on TV for all the 70's shows? And everyone in the commercial would hold up their finger as a #1. Like, all the stars of Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley....???

I do remember that one. The ABC-TV network used that song for their own commercials. At the time (1977 through 1979), the network had the most highest-ranked shows in the viewer ratings, and was considered as the #1 ranked broadcast network in the U.S. That's why they used that "Still The One!" song for their ad campaign.
Four years ago, President Bush tried to use that song when he ran for re-election, but the group's former singer (John Hall) objected because they were never asked permission! Hall is now a congressman himself.
The group is still around, but with different members.
