I am looking for this movie and I believe the name is Rainmaker. It is about a white kid who is in S Africa. He somehow hooks up with this African guy and learns how to box. I can remember a tribe of some kind as well as little other things like a water fall, split bathrooms(one for "whites" the other for "colored"), the gym getting burned down, just little things like that. I saw it in the early 80s with my dad on tv but I cant seem to find it. It could have been made in the 70s but I think it was the 80s. Any info would be great!

I'm pretty sure its not Rainmaker. There's a Rainmaker movie from 1956 with Burt Lancaster and Katharine Hepburn, and one from '97 with Matt Damon and Danny DeVito based on John Grisham's novel.
I'm trying to find something for you though.
