I do prefer the eighties much more, but I believe this musical type movie was made in 1979 so I believe it belongs here. Its by milos forman and its probably one of the greatest best superb movies out there. I adore it.
of this is the age of aquarius!

I loved that movie too. Film critic Gene Siskel called "Hair" the best film of 1979. I wouldn't go that far, but it is certainly one of the more underrated movies of the 70's decade.
The film only did so-so at the box office. I think it's because the film came out way too late, about ten years after the late 60's in which the musical took place. The late 70's was a socially and politically much different era than the 60's were.
Still, it is visually stunning and love the energy that went into it. Highly recommended!
