All week long while I've been home following my surgery I've been watching/listening to the 70s channel on my digital cable. I love music from all eras and genres but I have come to the conclusion that the 70s probably had the most overall diversity of all decades. You had the great soul and funk, you had disco, you had bubble gum rock, you had great storytellers, you had awesome rock, you had Neil Diamond, Tom Jones, The Carpenters etc etc. The list goes on and on.
I can listen to pretty much any kind of music but if it's diversity I'm looking for give me the 70s any day. Top to bottom the best decade for overall music in my book.

I started a topic on the same thing....it is my favorite music ever. That's why I have been doing so many posts on songs I'll hear.
Yesterday, I heard the songs:
Biggest Part of Me-Ambrosia
and
Diamond Girl-Seals & Croft
I love 70's love songs...they are the best. I love 70's music better than the 80's...I always have. The older I get the more I appreciate it.

I said...my favorite station is "The Heart"...right now the song...Baby I'm a Want You- by Bread is on...I love them. They are probably the biggest group I connect to a certain time period in my life.
