Remember this classic cartoon that would air on tv every year? It was written by the guy that wrote the jungle book and animated by Chuck Jones and narrated by Orson Welles. I would watch it every year when it would air. It was about a British family living in India and they had a pet mongoose named Rikki Tikki Tavi who had to fight these cobras who were trying to kill a boy. I always loved it and the other day I bought it on DVD. It was only $5 at Wally World.

It was over in the $5.96 movies...with most of the children's movies. I saw it in a middle isle.

I, too, used to watch it every year without fail. One of my fav stories by Rudyard Kipling (and Chuck Jones' animation is always excellent). Thanks for stirring such a cool memory.
