I have heard many things about this movie but as of yet have not seen it. I would like to but cannot find a way to get a hold of it. I really like the song "Pinball Wizard" by elton john but would like to see the movie that inspired it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

The movie isn't bad, but the album by The Who that inspired the movie is a classic for the ages. If I was ever to watch it again it would be for the music more then the movie.

Tommy airs in the states on cable every couple of months. I'm sure you can rent it at your local video store too. You can always try Amazon to see if they have a new or old copy available. I'm not sure if it's available on DVD or not. Hope you find it.
