The funny thing about the Duckie Boys is that they were an actual Bronx gang. The Fordham Baldies were a gang also. The Baldies were a spinoff of a gang called the Fordham Daggers, the younger guys being called the Fordham baldies - named baldies after the bald eagle and not because they shaved their heads. http://www.stonegreasers.com/greaser/newyork.html has information on both gangs.

Yes, the South Brooklyn Boys to be exact. They were a gang made up of about 8 to 10 gangs and one was called the Wanderers. The Fordham Baldies, the Duckies, and the Mau Mau Chaplains were actual gangs too.
