OhmyGod...I must have read this book six or seven times as a teenager!!! I just found out they made a TV movie of it....so now I'm looking for that. (Anyone see it? Anyone know where I can get a copy?) On imdb they say this book was a fake. It was supposed to be a real girls diary that her parents found after she died....but years later they found out it was really fiction written by a middle aged therapist!!!

One pill makes you larger And one pill makes you small And the ones that mother gives you Don't do anything at all Go ask Alice When she's ten feet tall
And if you go chasing rabbits And you know you're going to fall Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar Has given you the call Call Alice When she was just small
When men on the chessboard Get up and tell you where to go And you've just had some kind of mushroom And your mind is moving low Go ask Alice I think she'll know
When logic and proportion Have fallen sloppy dead And the White Knight is talking backwards And the Red Queen's "off with her head!" Remember what the dormouse said: "Feed your head Feed your head Feed your head"

Do you ever wonder: if you use brain cels to hold onto rock lyrics what memorys you HAVENT been able to save because you've already got saved data in your brain??? My best friend asks me this all the time. You seem to have the same LYRICS section of the brain I do. I swear this is why I cant do math worth a damn. I put so much LYRIC data in that theres no room for the math data!

Correct. The so-called "anonymous diary" is really an "urban legend".
The book was actually written by a woman named Beatrice Sparks. She wrote several books taken mostly from case histories involving troubled teenagers, but using the name "anonymous".
