I’ve been thinking about transitioning to remote work, but I don’t know which direction to take. I see a lot of people talking about freelancing, digital products, or even remote job positions, but I have no clue which of these is actually sustainable. I have a bit of experience with social media management and writing, but I’m not sure how to turn that into a proper remote career. Does anyone here work remotely full-time? How did you get started, and what would you recommend for someone in my position?

Absolutely! The great thing about remote work is that there’s something for everyone, whether you want a stable remote job or prefer freelancing. With your background, you might want to explore content marketing, virtual assistance, or even starting your own consulting service. A really helpful guide I found explains different ways to earn money remotely in 2025, including specific job ideas and practical tips: https://www.technology.org/2025/01/20/how-to-make-money-working-remotely-in-2025/. It might help you decide which path suits you best!

The flexibility of remote work is really appealing, but figuring out where to start can be tough. Having a breakdown of different remote job opportunities is super useful, so I’ll definitely take a look at that article as well. It’s always helpful to hear from people who’ve already made the transition successfully.
