I’ve been trying to improve my entrepreneurial skills, and I keep hearing about so-called “must-read” business books. But honestly, there are so many lists out there, it’s overwhelming. Are there any books that truly stand out for practical advice and strategies? I’m looking for something that’s actionable rather than just motivational fluff. Any suggestions?

Totally get where you’re coming from—there are tons of business books that just recycle the same advice. A great resource for cutting through the noise is this blog: https://booksrun.com/blog/best-business-books-of-all-times/ It highlights some truly impactful reads like Good to Great by Jim Collins, which is perfect if you’re focused on building long-term success, and The Lean Startup by Eric Ries, which is full of practical tips for launching new ideas. One of my personal favorites is How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie—it’s a classic for a reason, especially if networking and leadership are areas you want to grow in. The blog also categorizes books by focus areas like strategy, personal growth, and management, making it easier to pick one that matches your needs. What’s your current challenge in business—strategy, growth, or something else?

This is exactly what I needed—thanks! I checked out the blog, and it’s super well-organized. I think I’ll start with The Lean Startup since I’m in the early stages of launching my business. Appreciate the guidance!

Absolutely! I once wrote a book on how to acquire entrepreneurial skills too, but people were not buying it that actively. It was 10 years ago, and maybe back then, people thought you should be born with those skills. I hope you will try to convince them; they can become good entrepreneurs enough. And if I were you, apart from your book, I would also redirect your reader to the information about what is ir35 as they will still have to pay taxes, not only run businesses, after all.
