I am looking for a movie not sure if Molly ringwald was in it or that McCarthy dude but thinking maybe he was after her but the plot is this guy has the hots for the popular girl and his best friend who happens to be a cute girl with short blonde hair but a bit of a tom boy helps him out but she is really crazy about him and it ends with him realizing this and giving her some diamond earrings he had bought for the popular girl and she says "I really wanted these" while she is crying and she drove the limo for him to take the popular girl to the prom or something. Ok so I rambled lots... can anyone help with the name of the movie? Would really appreciate it, it's been driving me crazy! Thanks!
