Anyone else tried this super feature from google? I know it's not that new but I never thought about using it for this purpose. I know that you can easily search the net and find tons of fan pictures and even self made videos on youtube , but I think it's really cool how "live" it feels when you can click-and-hold and turn the view and see places from different angels.
I like the feeling when you see the surroundings, even if the surrounding in the movie could be different since it's shot in more than one town.
If you turn the picture 180 degrees you can even see the three where George McFly where "peeping toming".
Just two houses north on the same street you have George's house: George's house
And a few house's to the south from Lorraine's you have Biff's house: Biff's house
If you "walk" from Biff's house and go north you can see the house where he threw the kids ball (actually it's the house jsut to the left of Lorraines) =)
Feel free to post if you know any cool locations to look up. The sport is to find the obscure places =)

Awesome idea, FT, a lot better than looking at crappy site locations for one of my workplace's new offices...

I actually just found the houses used in "The Boy Who Could Fly". I saw that there werent any addresses available on this site so I went on a google map search, comparing with screenshots and found them.
There's been some renovation and remodeling done though. For example, the long chimney stack beside Charlene's window is gone but I'm 100 percent sure this is the right location. I've compared their houses and the surrounding ones and I have no doubt in my mind. Everything fits.
For some reason I can't put an URL in this post so I edited it in in the first post.
If anyone wants screenshots to compare for themselves I can upload the ones I used.
BTW, I changed my nickname.

Haha, yeah, coolest and creepiest, probably the two most accurate words to describe it! =)
I've been browsing through the filming locations of my favorite movies on this site but haven't found one with a direct link to google maps yet.
Since Can't buy me love is one of them I looked at Cindy's house (thanks to the description from the location category) on google maps. (Here it is btw: Cindy's House ).
I also wanted to find Ronalds house but Tucson is just to damn big, haha! And you don't get much to go on from the movie. The house looks cool do, would be sweet to see it. Does anybody know where it is?

Go to "google maps" and enter this address:---
529 5th street, New Weasminster, BC, CANADA,
There it is...Whats her name's house...and the other house is to the right. Notice, the bay window is on the other side of the house....
Lord Bing school, The school in "the boy who could fly", is here:---
3939 w 16th Ave., Vancouver, BC, CANADA,
You have to click down Wallace st. to 15th Ave. W. to get the view. It has changed a lot since the 80's.
Thankyou
Thanks, BillyBob, just wish you told me that before I went on my google hunt.
But since that's confirmed now maybe the address can be added to the filming location category on the main page?

Yeah, I've been looking for that one for years... Even spoken to the CBML locations manager about it (she couldn't remember where it was), but so far, no dice...
The locations part for each movie will change out of all recognition, but its just taking lots longer than I ever thought. Partly because I've been lazier about getting it done, but mostly because there are lots of technical challenges that have been a lot harder to solve than I thought...
However, each movie will eventually have a page for each location, with maps, then & now pics and streetviews etc.

Nice pics, and sooner or later someone's gonna be able to help with the Miller house. Hopefully.
Looking forward to the upgrade with maps.
Btw, should I send in the addresses from this thread? I mean should I send them in through the main page, since some of them werent available there.

There seems to be some kind of industrial buildings on the opposite side of the street to Boy Who Could Fly house, and there's a intersection nearby. I wonder if that was there back then? Kind of ruins the magic!
