I saw it a long time ago so my memory is fuzzy. Pretty sure it was about some red headed kid in highschool who ends up dating some popular girl. I remember the red headed kid being either a mechanic or gas station attendant and some jock driving up in his black sports car at his job. There is a scene of him walking home with an industrial plant behind him. At home his dad is really pushing him to get into college. Thats about all i remeber but plz help me because I'm dying to know what movie this is!
