I am looking for a movie about a guy who dies and and angel who smokes cigarettes agrees to help him save the woman he left behind. I was a pre-teen when I watched this movie and it could be an early 90's movie. It had a very dark atmospheric tone to it and when the angel or god appeared, the character wore a suit and almost looked like some famous musician from that era. Not sure if its an angel or a guy who is playing god. The guy who dies has a limited amount of time to save\ his loved one and I can't remember much else. If anyone knows the title to this movie, it would make the happiest person on this site.
