OK everyone here is the topic...... my friend and me was talking we both rent from Netflix and when he rents a movie that he really likes he burns it "makes a back up" of the movie. He says that he thinks it is or should be OK to do that as long as you keep the rental service active. I'm kind of torn on the issue with the piracy laws but he says why isn't it like Napster where you can Download and listen to music from them as long as you keep up the rental payments. And as he says that it kinda makes sense.
How about all of your thoughts?

It's a grey area, but I kind of agree with him. As long as he isn't re-selling it I think it's fine. Look at it this way: When a movie airs on TV you can record and keep it for yourself, all you're doing with Netflix is being more selective.
