This past week I have been buying up Blu-ray movies like crazy due to all the sales going on. I believe these sale prices on Blu-ray's will be better than what retailers will be offering during Memorial Day weekend.
Below are a few sites where I have found great deals on some 80's goodness.
This one is best by far. You send in your USED DVD's along with $4.95 for each movie you send in. They in turn will send you a NEW replacement for the same movie in Blu-ray format. The more movies you buy the less your shipping fee will be: http://www.dvd2blu.com/products.html
Hope everyone takes advantage of this as I have

Fightertown.. I'm trying to stick to my rules of Blu-ray engagement, but the recent deals are making it extremely difficult.
I picked up "The Karate Kid" for only $9.99 on release.. actually before release!
It is awesome to see 80's Blu-rays become more affordable.

I missed out on 'The Karate Kid' $9.99 sale. I'll have to wait for the next one to pop up. Unless, you bought more than one?
I'm still compiling some DVD's from bargain bins and friends to use for the dvd2blue $4.95 deal.

Okay.. I'm intrigued by the $4.95 upgrade offer by Warner Bros. Thanks for the link! I'll check it out more in the morning. Have you used it yet?

I haven't only because there are a few more DVD's I need before I send them all off. I'm trying to save as much as I can on shipping. Hopefully, I can ship all my DVD's by Wednesday of next week.
This is a great service to film geeks. Trading up our used for newer format. I wish other studio's would get on the wagon.

Today was a nice day off. Waited for the plumber to show up between 9-11 and they show up at 11am today. Visited the folks and they decided on Japanese for lunch.
Once all that was done I was off to my Blu-ray hunt.
Today I scored:
Casino for $7.99 at Best Buy after price matching Fry's online price. Sin City for $12.99 at Costco
And these three came in the mail.
$32.94 using the $30 bundle from Walmart.com as listed from the primary post.
