Last fall, I took some pics of the house used in "Uncle Buck" which is located in Evanston, IL. Here are a couple pics....sorry for the crappy quality, they were taken with my phone.
The house has not really changed much at all since 1989 when the movie was shot. I recognized it right away when I saw that archway

Veronica.. now you need to find the house party establishment and the park that Uncle Buck smashed Bug!
Look for souvenir golfballs while you're there..

And if you can find the bowling alley as well, that would be a plus.

I'm so jealous with people who get to see all these movie locations. Especially places like this one - where it almost seems like time has stood still.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing.

Kevdug....I could've sat there for hours staring at this house, but there were people driving by and looking at me like I was nuts. Same thing happened at the Home Alone house, LOL.
Devolution - I actually took some pics of the houses across the street too. Remember when Buck goes to the wrong house in the beginning? "Bob? BOB???"

Someone ought to really, with the Hughes family's permission, create a house tour of his films in the Chicago area. I think it would be a large income boost for the city and suburbs that would run good for years (in a way, then, a bit of a shame we never do specifically see where each member of the Breakfast Club lives in the finished film; their houses would have been equally valued on such a tour).
