I'm going!!!! plus 5 of my friends so far.......it's only 3-4 hours from me so I have no excuse.
I only found out about it this week.......it's been the works awhile I guess. June 4th-7th.
Hopefully some of the cast will show. Either way should be a fun celebration with lots of Goonies fans!
check the Astoria, Oregon homepage for details.........Will I see any of you there?

"The Goonies" might just be the greatest kids adventure movie of all-time. I would love to be there for the 25th Anniversary!

That would be absolutely brilliant and you will have to tell us how it was Muffy and post pics of the sites!
I wanted to go to the Jaws festival at Martha's Vineyard, but found out about it several years after it happened!
I am just going to have to organize some good Chicago based Anniversary Events...let's see...The Blues Brothers, Adventures in Babysitting, Just about any John Hughes movie!

A 'Hughesfest' would be a great idea. I'm surprised nobody's done it yet!

Sounds great...wish I could go but if I spend the savings on going instead of a new bathroom suite, I think my wife would ask for a divorce when I got home...Ha Ha.
Still...very tempting.
