Unknowingly i watched two movies back to back that were so extremely similar?? haha
I've seen both of them before......I remember loving Griffith's character LULU and her kitschy style and how awesome the movie is cast.
So what i kept noticing: 1.Two strangers meet 2.Spend a whole crazy day together 3.Ex boyfriend chases them 4. couple gets separated (spoiler) 5. Couple ends up tracking down each other
Weird eh? i chose these two random movies together?
Something Wild was directed by Johnathan Demme and score is done by David Byrnes.....(honestly seems a bit off sometimes for a score?) John Waters has a cameo........Ray Liotta is awesome!
Anyway just wanted to fill you in on my goofiness

Muffy.. great observations. I started a thread about "Something Wild" awhile back. It is a trip of movie..
I'm not as big of a fan of "Blind Date" though..

Devo.. I'm not much of a Blake Edwards fan either.. The Pink Panther francise is only marginally good in my opinion. From there it might be "10" and "Switch"??

Blake is verrrrrry patchy. I don't think anyone can be a 'Blake Edwards' fan, his movies make that too difficult. I take his movies on a case by case basis.

Bruce Willis was still semi-David Addison in Blind Date which is probably why I liked the movie.

haha totally David Addison Kash......but he's so 80's dreamy I like Blind Date it was one of my $3 Big Lots finds. John Larroquette and Phil Hartman also star in it. Basinger looks so different as a brunette. I think there are some great funny moments......ie: the art show haha
Something Wild is so different for a typical 80's movie to me.....almost more indie perfectly cast TOTALLY made me think of After Hours Logan.
Logan I only have not seen Into the Night on your list there.......so maybe I need to get on that...
