Okay, i cant remember who is in it and I thought it was the Manhattan Project but its not. Some scientist send a ship and its crew back in time around WW1 or WW2 and Some sort of explosion i think is the cause or its some radiation, Bermuda Triangle supernatural occurrence thing. I believe its a NAVY ship that gets sent forward in time as well. Very vague right? I'm really confused but i can see it in my head.HELP masters of the 80s

Haven't seen that one for a while. It must be a unique thing for us rewinders to have active threads on two Michael Pare movies at the same time!

Didn't The Philadelphia Experiment send two crew members forward in time and not the entire ship? But in Final Countdown a freakish storm sent the entire ship back to the attack on Pearl Harbor.. but they still couldn't stop it?
Just a thought, but maybe you are thinking of both movies because there were similarities.

The navy ship in PE gets stuck in the time-tunnel along with a ton of other things. The crew members are sent forward but not stuck in the tunnel.

I have both and IMHO and while I love them both, I think The Philadelphia Experiment is heavy on the cheese and therfore for me, a little more "fun" to watch, but I think The Final Countdown is superior. A much better story, acting, pace..everything...AND Martin Sheen! But you're right, both great movies!

Ah... but 'The Philadelphia Experiment' was based on an actual experiment! That trumps everything to me!
