All i can remember is a family of aliens disguised as humans. The mother alien searched through trash bins for meals, they all slept in cacoons and one scene features the daughter alien having sex on a trampoline, any ideas??? its been annoying me for YEARS! [Eek!]

It is most definetly meet the applegates. They weren't aliens though they were bugs in disguise that came here from the jungle. it has all the same things you described
