I realise that this post is a little OT, so I hope the mods don't ban me for it
As part of ongoing developments, I have introduced a major new feature at the Rewind that hopefully will please everyone... I wonder if anyone can find it..?
It won't be hard to find, but if no-one does, I'll post more info later.. Meanwhile lets see if anyone finds it and what they have to say..
I realise that this post would have been better in the social club, but figured more ppl would read it if it was posted here

A change in the Browse Movies feature? Explore Movies ..first time I noticed that feature.. but it appears to be the old 'Browse Movies'.

I agree, Valley. I have noticed this feature as well.
What is distinctive about it, then?
Nick, could either you or somebody else please explain?

First prize seems to rightfully go to... Muffy! Yay!
Thats right, for all those who disliked the new design because you could no longer just refer to the list of movies on the left and click to go there.. The Rewind is going all Web 2.0...
"Browse Movies" from the homepage or any movie pages etc no longer takes you to a page where you can start browsing.. It opens a Web 2.0 style menu that allows you to navigate straight to a new movie immediately - just like the old frames based left hand side menu on the old site. You can still filter by year or genre if you want, all in the popup..
"Explore Movies" is a new link that takes you to the "old" Browse pages...
This is just the start.. But a big step in technology terms (for me anyway! ) so it would be great if everyone can try it out and let me know if there are any significant problems.. If things dont work as expected, try doing a browser refresh on the page you're on.
The next step will be that iRewind submissions / contact etc will similarly be possible without ever leaving the page you're on.
All this is leading to the new "facebook" style technology experience that will allow the Movie Locations web site discussed in the "Movie Locations" thread but the navigation inconvenience had been gnawing at me ever since I decided to abandon frames, so its great to have that fixed..
