I just watched Hangover and it reminded me of another movie I think might be from the 80's. A guy and a girl on a date and he loses her. He doesn't remember what happened and has to backtrack to find her.

I agree with JAY LEE that the movie you seek is more than likely "The Night Before" with Keanu Reeves and Lori Loughlin. A Devo fav and incredibly underrated in my opinion!
