I recently downloaded some Billy Idol stuff and once I got past the obviosu picks like Dancing With Myself and White Wedding I started to think about the whole REBEL YELL album and how much i enjoyed palying it over and over again all summer long the year it came out.
I downloaded whatever I could get off it and the one song I find myself playing over and over again is Daytime Drama. WHY wasnt this song a hit? It should have been released as a single, had a video, been on the radio, etc.
Does anyone have any "hidden gems" from popular albums they think was robbed as far as couldve been and shouldve been a hit?

I think I will target some of my all time favorite albums:
Cyndi Lauper's "She's So Unusual" -When You Were Mine and All Through The Night
The Killers "Hot Fuss" - Believe Me Natalie...my favorite track on the album
U2 "The Joshua Tree" - Running To Stand Still
U2 "Actung Baby" - So Cruel
I absolutely love every song on The Cure - "Disintegration", and The Counting Crows "August and Everything After"...so...any song off both them albums that they didn't release!
* Sorry so long winded, but one last thing: One of my favorite bands and one of my top 5 favorite albums of all time is the Indigo Girls self titled album...no huge hits and lots of people have never even heard them sing...I just don't understand this one? There's a song on the album called "Kid Fears with backing vocals from Michael Stipe from REM....awsome stuff. Great song writing and perfect harmony...
